Surrender series

Loved it, my ONLY thing was some of the things that Damon said were a little goofy and he didn't strike me as dominate as the rest of the guys. Other than that I loved the book and I love Maya Banks's books!

Fantastic book...read it straight through, couldn't put it down. I don't get the poor reviews, I think the book is great. Maybe some readers were uncomfortable with some of the scenes and instead of realizing that what might not be for them-is right for others. I would recommend this book to anyone. Just keep an open mind, you will love it!

So much better than the first one! I love how all the characters are involved. Amazing and raunchy sex scenes. Some parts had my heart racing! This book made me laugh out loud and even cry from sadness through Serena. I really connected with her! Very raw book. I loved it. I can't wait to get started on the next one!!!

Could Not Feel This Book

I was excited to start reading this book but ended up disappointed. In my opinion, this book was not interesting at all. I found it to be somewhat boring. I understand that the 'hot books' are about sub missives and slaves, but at least there is a story/plot with it. Even the sex scenes were not that interesting....almost like it was make believe. I did not find this book to have much of a 'middle' to it. None of my friends have read this book so I plan to warn them not to. If someone were to ask me what my favorite part of the book was, I would have to say the end......when the book was finished. I do want to add that I have read other books by this author and loved them. This was not one of her best writings. Something must have had her distracted.

This was not my most favorite Maya Banks book. However, it was enjoyable enough. I like how you still have the characters from the first book and sets up things so well for the next book. The reader that was disgusted with this book......missed the point of the whole premise of it.

I never understood the dynamic of the Master/Slave BDSM relationship until this book. It is beautifully written and the chemistry between Damon and Serena is HOT!!!! Very good read.

I've never written a review before. I've read a lot of erotica but I found this book deeply disturbing. He pretty much rapes her and she finds it pleasurable. I found many of the sex scenes so brutal I had to fast forward through them. The good thing about Shades of Grey which led me to this genre is that there was care for the woman's pain. This book goes too far. I kept hoping that it would soften, but when he took off his belt to beat her, that was it. I'll never buy this author again and the total submission was way too deep. He was also the worse lover of any book seldom attention to the woman's pleasure except through pain.

Brilliant!

I have to say that I can't stop reading these books. And it all started with The Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy. The way Maya Banks builds up these characters and their relationships is mind-blowing to me. You feel what they feel, and in the end you want more. It is so much fun to get lost in these types of books. On to the next in the series. :)

This book gave me chill bumps. That's how romantic is was. It's a must read if you love a sinfully hot romance and to die for characters. Mrs. Banks has captured this love story perfect. It's hands down a must read. I was hooked from the start. Can't wait to read the rest of this steamy series.
